Advanced Class: Electronics on Payload

Question
Are magnets or electronics allowed in the payload for Advanced Class?
Answer
We have settled on the following rules interpretations for 2025 (as of Jan 2025). The Designated Landing Zone (DLZ) may not contain electronics or magnets. The payload may not contain magnets, but may contain electronics. Aircraft may contain both magnets and electronics. We will be more specific in the rule set for next year. Because we did not specifically prohibit payload electronics in the rule set, we are allowing it in the competition.
