A group of 4-5 experienced volunteer pilots has been identified to support teams at the SAE Aero Design West event. The pilot group will be positioned at the flightline and will rotate to support teams without a pilot, as they approach, on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6. Teams in need will connect with their pilot as they reach the flightline.

Additionally, several volunteer pilots will be available for practice flying in the afternoon on Friday, April 4. Teams can connect with a pilot for a practice flight after they have passed technical inspection.
